Times are tough, even for a Kardashian. Rob Kardashian can reportedly “no longer afford” his $20,000 a month child support payments, and in fact, thinks he should be getting a check instead, according to The Blast.

The Blast reported that Rob and Blac Chyna — his ex and the mother of his daughter, Dream Kardashian — have been stuck in a custody battle for months over child support payments for the two-year-old. The outlet found documents filed by the couple where Rob claims he can no longer afford the $20,000 a month he’s been ordered to pay, and he’s looking to modify the terms.

In fact, Rob is reportedly arguing that Chyna should pay him, because she’s worth more than him. Chyna is allegedly worth over $1.4 million, while Rob claims he used to make $100,000 per month back when they first broke up, but now makes less than $10,000 compared to Chyna’s $60,000 a month.

Rob also reportedly claimed that the domestic violence restraining order Chyna filed last year did some serious damage to him, and he even stopped participating in Keeping Up With the Kardashians, hence the loss of income.

In a declaration, Rob said, according to the online outlet: “I have not participated in the filming of any episodes since this summer when [Chyna] filed a request for a restraining order against me. Her request was widely publicized and I was scrutinized by the media. It has been an extraordinarily difficult time for me emotionally and I have no desire to continue participating in the reality show.”

This is not the first time Rob has tried to reduce his child support payments to Chyna. After Chyna was in a fight around Easter this year that involved their daughter’s stroller, Rob’s legal team reportedly filed legal documents to outline what Chyna can do in front of the baby, and he was hoping a lowered child support payment would come out of it all as well.

According to The Blast, Rob’s lawyers believe that based on what Chyna earns, he should actually be collecting $2,864 for his 50/50 custody of Dream. Chyna is reportedly fighting a modification to child support, which shouldn’t exactly come as a surprise.

Unfortunately, this situation might get even uglier before everything is worked out. Hopefully, Dream is kept far away from any disagreements between her parents — she didn’t ask for any of this, after all.
