Pete Davidson and Kaia Gerber Celebrate His 26th Birthday Together at ‘SNL’ Afterparty

Time for a celebration! Pete Davidson celebrated his 26th birthday with his new girlfriend, Kaia Gerber, at the Saturday Night Live afterparty in New York City on Saturday, November 16, In Touch can confirm. Their night out comes just hours after Kaia, 18, was spotted picking up a birthday cake for Pete at Magnolia Bakery ahead of the festivities.

“Pete and Kaia, they showed up together, but did not hold hands,” a source told Us Weekly about the couple’s appearance at the afterparty at Le Chalet. “However, they were very flirty throughout the night as they became more relaxed inside of the restaurant. Again, there were a lot of people nearby and were very aware that people were watching them and their every move.”

Earlier that day, the model — who is the daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber — was seen leaving Magnolia with a box. According to Us Weekly, Kaia stopped by the famed bakery to pick up a confetti cake with pink frosting with the message “Happy Birthday, Pete!” written in blue frosting. She was later seen carrying the dessert into Rockefeller Center, which is where SNL broadcasts from. The comedian was scheduled to make an appearance on that night’s episode.

Pete and Kaia first sparked dating rumors when they were spotted out on a date at t Sadelle’s in New York City on Sunday, October 20. “They were laughing with each other and eating,” an eyewitness exclusively told In Touch at the time. “They seemed happy.” The two dined alone and “weren’t touchy at all,” according to the onlooker. “They were just happy to be around each other.”

They were spotted a handful of times since then, and on November 14, insiders confirmed to Us Weekly that they were officially a couple. “Pete and Kaia are dating and they’ve been trying to keep their relationship somewhat low profile,” a source told the outlet.

It would make sense that Pete is trying to be more low-key about his current relationship, considering he’s been involved in three high-profile relationships within the past year. Pete called off his engagement to pop star Ariana Grande in October 2018 after about four months of dating. He moved on with actress Kate Beckinsale by January 2019, but they split in April after about four months together. In August, Pete moved on with actress Margaret Qualley, but they broke up in October after about two months together.
