Megan Fox Makes Rare Comment About ‘Unplanned’ Pregnancy With Machine Gun Kelly: ‘Happy Surprise’

Megan Fox made a rare comment about her “unplanned” pregnancy with ex Machine Gun Kelly – real name Colson Baker.

The Jennifer’s Body star, 39, shared a clip from the Amazon Prime series Overcompensating to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, May 22, which she filmed last year when she was pregnant with baby No. 4. Megan shares three children with her ex-husband, Brian Austin Green, while Machine Gun Kelly has a teenage daughter from a previous relationship.

“38 years old. Six weeks pregnant. (Unplanned but a happy surprise),” Megan wrote alongside the video. “Please stop listening to the patriarchy. Women are eternal light beings. We do not have an expiration date. Don’t let them rob you of your power. Anyway … watch @overcompensating.”

The Instagram Story was the first post Megan had shared on social media in months.

Megan and MGK, 35, first met while filming Midnight in the Switchgrass, and began dating in 2020. By January 2022, they were engaged. In November 2024, Megan and MGK announced that they were expecting their first child together.

“Nothing is ever really lost. Welcome back,” the Transformers actress wrote alongside a since-deleted photo from a maternity photoshoot in which she posed nude and a picture of a positive pregnancy test.

However, the following month, TMZ reported that the couple had split after Megan allegedly found “upsetting” material on MGK’s phone during a vacation the two were taking in Vail, Colorado, over Thanksgiving weekend. Neither of them publicly addressed their split.

On December 17, 2024, a source exclusively told In Touch that the “My Ex’s Best Friend” singer was going to have to work to regain Megan’s trust if he ever wanted a relationship between them to continue.

“Megan and MGK have officially split up, but some of their friends aren’t sure how long they’ll stay separated,” the insider said at the time. “She loves MGK, but she feels that their relationship has run its course. She’s adamant about moving on, but as soon as their baby comes, MGK will be singing a different tune.”

The source continued, “Megan really tried to make it work, but she doesn’t fully trust him and that’s something she can’t reconcile with. Maybe he’ll change, the baby might be his wake-up call, but he has a lot of work to do to regain her trust. She’s got a big heart and definitely wants him in the baby’s life.”

On March 27, MGK announced that Megan had given birth to a healthy baby girl.

“She’s finally here!! our little celestial seed,” the rapper wrote via Instagram.

In the months since their new addition’s birth, it’s seemed as though the former couple is trying to work things out, if only for the sake of their daughter.

“The new baby seems to have flipped a switch in MGK,” a source told In Touch on May 14. “He’s driving Megan to the store, offering to do the night shifts and choosing to stay in over going out to party. Megan always wanted MGK to have a big role in the baby’s life and so far, so good. She’s encouraged.”

The insider added, “It’s not just great for them, it’s much better for the baby this way. Hopefully it will last, it’s really dependent on MGK and if he can continue on this healthier path. Everyone is rooting for him and for them.”
