Typical college student. Former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star Mady Gosselin shared a video of herself dancing to a song — with some racy lyrics — while wearing a black minidress.

“I cannot get this song out of my head,” Jon and Kate Gosselin’s 20-year-old daughter captioned her TikTok post on Monday, September 27. In the clip, the former TLC star performed choreography in her college dorm at Syracuse University to “Words, Words, Words” by Bo Burnham.

“Met a girl named Macy, had sex with her all day,” the section of the song Mady dances to said, using her hands to jokingly pump up and down. The song continues, “But she was dyslexic, so I. ended up doin’ the YMCA,” and Mady transitioned her moves into the iconic Village People song’s dance.

The song is from Bo’s stand-up routine and derivative album, which was released in October 2010. The comedian/singer’s satirical writing style includes tongue-in-cheek lyrics that often rely on wordplay, puns and historical and literary references. A person with dyslexia, a common learning disability in reading, has trouble matching the letters they see with their sounds. A common misconception is that people with dyslexia see letters jumbled — in the song’s case, it relies on this misconception to turn the word “Macy” into “YMCA.”

The silly dance video comes after years of drama between her divorced parents, Jon, 44, and Kate, 46, including a years-long custody battle over Mady, her twin Cara Gosselin, and the former couple’s sextuplets — Aaden, Joel, Alexis, Leah, Collin and Hannah.

After selling their house in Pennsylvania, Kate recently relocated to North Carolina with four of their 17-year-old sextuplets, Aaden, Joel, Alexis and Leah. Meanwhile, Collin and Hannah remain with their father in Pennsylvania and Jon does not have a relationship with the rest of his children. Cara, 20 is away from home attending Fordham University

In the past, the twins discussed possibly going to the same college, but their “ambitions were so different that they really felt there’s not one college that would fully answer what each of them wanted,” Kate said.

“College feels like a place to blend in. I feel like we haven’t really had much of a chance to really, really blend in. I want to be just like somebody,” Mady said in a confessional on Kate Plus 8. “I don’t want everyone to know my name and my business. So, I feel like a big college is the way we want to go.”
