The Sister Wives star took to Instagram on Saturday, June 3 to share an update on her son, Axel James Brush — whom she shares with her husband Caleb Brush, but she seemed a little sad that two weeks has already passed since she became a first-time mommy.
"This little stud is two weeks old today," she wrote, adding a crying face emoji. "I'm torn between wanting to watch him grow and wanting him to stay small forever."
Since giving birth, she's posted a few more photos of her adorable baby boy — and she even shared one where her newborn son showed off his cute little smile!
"I am that mom I swore I wouldn't be, posting tons of pictures of this handsome boy. How could I not though!?"
Maddie and Caleb welcomed TLC cameras into their house shortly after they brought their son home from the hospital and they both opened up about what it's like to be first-time parents.
“It feels exciting,” Maddie told the cameras. “I don’t even know how to describe how it felt when I first saw him or held him. It was like, a bunch of relief cause I was done with labor, it was surreal.”
“For me, it was emotional cause I finally have my little boy here,” her hubby added.
Maddie said that her first night of motherhood was easy because baby Axel slept five hours, woke up for a feeding and a diaper change and then went right back to sleep.
“Right now, the most exciting part is the newness of it," Maddie continued. "We’re parents, we have a kid, we have a family — growing our little family. Kids are fun, they make holidays more fun.”
