Kourtney Kardashian Consoling Pregnant Megan Fox After Split From Machine Gun Kelly: ‘She Gets It’

Megan Fox needs all the help and friendship she can find right now as she prepares to raise her and Machine Gun Kelly’s baby alone – and a source exclusively tells In Touch good friend Kourtney Kardashian and her husband Travis Barker have stepped up to offer their full support. 

The Jennifer’s Body actress, 38, is in turmoil after the sudden split between her and on-again-off-again beau MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, in late November, news of which came just weeks after their baby announcement. The insider says, naturally, “If anyone can relate to what Megan is going through, it’s Kourtney.” 

The reality star, 45, publicly aired her torturous will-they-won’t-they romance with ex Scott Disick on Keeping Up with the Kardashians over the years, which also featured a few post-baby breakups. Kourtney shares three children with Scott, 41 – Mason, born in December 2009, Penelope, born in July 2012 and Reign, born in December 2014. They split briefly after Mason’s birth for a few months in August 2010, but ultimately reconciled before calling it quits for good after welcoming Reign, due to allegations of cheating on Scott’s part.

The insider says that while, “a lot of people in Megan’s life are fed up with all her drama with MGK,” as, “this isn’t the first time he’s been a dog and gotten caught,” the eldest Kardashian sister “has total empathy for her.” 

“She busted Scott cheating on her so many times during their relationship. It was hell for her but she still took him back over and over again, just like Megan has done with MGK, so she gets it,” the source adds.

Megan and MGK had been together for four years before the break up and had even gotten engaged in January 2022. TMZ reported that the two split over Thanksgiving weekend while they were together in Vail, Colorado. Apparently, Megan found something on her beau’s phone so distressing she demanded he ditch their holiday plans and leave early. Since then, the former couple hasn’t seen each other, the outlet reports.

A different source who spoke to People on Wednesday, December 11, said Megan is “still distraught” after being “blind-sided” by the scandal. But the Transformers actress is “trying to focus” as much as possible on welcoming her baby: “It’s her priority.”

“They love each other but don’t have compatible personalities,” said that source, adding, “They will very likely get back together. They’ve split in the past and then worked things out.”

Like a true friend, the first source says, “Kourtney’s not trying to tell her what to do, she’s just there as a shoulder to cry on and someone that isn’t going to judge.” 

“She knows how hard it is to eat during these kinds of heartbreaking times so she’s having healthy soups and other comfort foods prepared for Megan and bringing them over to her.” 

For his part, “Travis is being totally supportive too and making it clear he’s going to be on Megan’s side,” the source says, adding, “He’s furious with MGK for messing this up.”
