Has Kanye West finally pushed Kim Kardashian to the edge? She’s been giving him unwavering support despite his pro-Trump spiels and controversial tweets, but on May 1 he may have gone too far. After going on TMZ to say that slavery was “a choice” for black people, an insider tells In Touch exclusively that Kim is really worried about her image being ruined by her rogue husband.
“Kim is losing it,” the source revealed. “She doesn’t want Kanye putting himself out there like he’s doing because it’s ruining his brand and her family’s image. She thinks he’s doing more damage to their empire than good. She certainly did not approve him going on TMZ and ranting and raving. She’s cringing.”
It’s hard not to cringe. Fans are furious with Yeezy to the point that many may not ever forgive him. Plus, the damage to their image is no small concern. After Kim spoke out in support of Kanye during the fallout from his Trump comments, a brand expert said that she handled it well so it won’t be a “death blow to the Kardashian brand.” But how long can she continue to support him without bringing herself down, too? On top of that, she has to worry about the Crips coming after her family thanks to Ye’s comments.
Despite everything, Kim’s view of Yeezy hasn’t changed at all. “She knows he means well,” said the source. “She knows his heart. But right now she’s begging and pleading with Kanye to calm down before he has another serious meltdown.” Kanye revealed that his meltdown in 2016 was due to becoming addicted to opiods after getting lipsuction, and while he’s clean now, his behavior is becoming more out there. We just hope Kim can talk some sense into him before he loses all of his fans ahead of dropping his next album.
