Keke Palmer Calls Sean Evans Chemistry ‘Genuine,’ Reacts to Fan Obsession

Making an appearance on Today with Jenna & Sheinelle on Monday, Palmer addressed her chemistry with Hot Ones host Sean Evans.

Following Evans’ admission that he had a “crush” on Palmer during Chicken Shop Date, the two shared a kiss on Hot Ones that set the internet ablaze. Afterwards, Palmer hosted Evans on her podcast, Baby, It’s Keke Palmer, where their spark was undeniable.

“Our chemistry is genuine,” Palmer told the co-host. “I couldn’t force that if I tried. We always felt that chemistry from the first time we did the show.”

Palmer also shared that she was surprised by the internet’s reaction to the vibes between her and Evans. She admitted that she was told to walk down the aisle in holy matrimony on social media.

“I was gagged that everybody was ready to marry me off,” said Palmer. “I was like, ‘Guys, let it cook!’ They married your girl off in two seconds.”

Adding fuel to the fire, Palmer and Evans caused another stir when they were seen out on a dinner date in June.

“That was crazy,” Palmer explained. “I mean, for us, it’s life. Essentially we met at work, and we had chem… It’s like work husband/work wife, and you just had that chemistry with people. Then we hang out, and for people to then… they write the story before you can live it.”

No matter where she is, Palmer shared that she’s always asked about her relationship status with Evans.

“I see somebody at the airport. I’m going through TSA, they’re like, ‘So girl, what’s going on with you?’ Palmer laughed. “I’m like, ‘Girl, you gotta let time pass! This just happened yesterday.’ It’s this thing that’s so parasocial, the world we live in now.”
