Kanye West has been hit with a lawsuit accusing him of sexual assault.
A recent lawsuit, reported by several outlets, claimed that West’s former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, has accused the “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” rapper of sexual assault during a studio session co-hosted by Sean “Diddy” Combs. Pisciotta, who worked for West, 47, from 2021 to 2022, claimed that she was the victim of “sexual battery” at the Grammy winner’s hand after drinking something given to her by him that had been laced.
Her complaint came as an amendment to her previous lawsuit which alleged she had been the victim of wrongful termination. West’s lawyers denied the allegations and claimed that Pisciotta had pursued “him sexually to coerce employment and other material benefits.” When her “advances were rejected,” West alleged that Pisciotta then tried to “blackmail him,” according to a report from Us Weekly published on Sunday, October 13.
“In response to these baseless allegations, Ye will be filing a lawsuit against Ms. Pisciotta,” the statement from West’s lawyers read. “Prior to her termination as an assistant, Ms. Pisciotta stole his cell phone in an attempt to destroy phone records that would contradict her claims, all of which have been preserved.”
The “All of the Lights” artist also claimed that Pisciotta had made requests “unreasonable sums of money” and he fired her because she was “unqualified” for the job.
The lawsuit against West comes amid Combs’ recent legal woes after the music mogul was arrested on September 16. Combs, 54, was charged with federal charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, according to the indictment obtained by In Touch. The indictment also accused the “It’s All About the Benjamins” artist of “a consistent and widespread pattern of mistreatment toward women, including verbal, physical and sexual abuse.”

“To do so, [Diddy] relied on the employees, resources and influence of the multi-faceted business empire that he led and controlled — creating a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in, and attempted to engage in, among other crimes, sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice,” the legal documents read.
The government also alleged that Combs was a serious flight risk and he would not be released on bond.
“As set forth below, there is no condition, or combination of conditions, that will reasonably assure the appearance of the defendant as required and the safety of others and the community, not to mention the integrity of the proceedings. As reflected by the gravity of the charges in the Indictment, the defendant is dangerous and poses an ongoing threat to the safety of the community. If released, he remains a serious risk of flight, despite the conditions offered by his counsel. Most glaringly, the defendant also poses a significant risk of obstructing justice,” the prosecutors wrote.
The attorneys continued, “Indeed, and as set forth below, during the course of the charged conduct, the defendant has attempted to bribe security staff and threatened and interfered with witnesses to his criminal conduct. He has already tried to obstruct the Government’s investigation of this case, repeatedly contacting victims and witnesses and feeding them false narratives of events, as described in detail below.”
Combs’ attorney, Marc Agnifilo, released a statement and maintained that the Bad Boy Records founder was innocent.
“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man, and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children and working to uplift the Black community,” Agnifilo said.
Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
