JWoww Seemingly Admits Her Biggest ‘Regret’ Was Marrying Roger: ‘I Don’t Know When It Gets Better’

Honesty hour. Jenni “JWoww” Farley got candid about her divorce from Roger Mathews during the Thursday, October 31, episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation while speaking with her bestie and costar Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi. “We were talking about regrets earlier — I’ve been thinking about the biggest one,” JWoww, 33, said to Nicole, 31. “Roger?” Nicole asked. “Yeah,” Jenni replied. “I’m going through it with the divorce. It’s been almost a year since I filed. When you get divorced, you’re supposed to be celebrating and start a new chapter, but it’s really heartbreaking. And it’s stressful, the up and down battle of figuring out custody issues. I just don’t know when it gets better.”

The fashion designer continued to comfort JWoww and even admitted their relationship wasn’t meant to be. “He’s the f–king worst,” Nicole said. “But you always knew it wasn’t right.”

JWoww and Roger, 44, met during season 1 of Jersey Shore at a bar. The truck driver proposed in September 2012, and the brunette beauty gave birth to their first child, Meilani, in July 2014. The former flames got married in October 2015 and welcomed their second child, Greyson, in May 2016. However, in September 2018, JWoww filed for divorce after nearly three years of marriage. But things got ugly as the book author filed a restraining order against Roger after they got into an argument. Ultimately, the two were able to put their differences aside and are now coparenting.

During the episode, the mom of two revealed she was grateful for her children amid all of the drama. “It’s just really hard,” she said. “They’re my bliss as I’m suffering. … It’s more than exhausting — it can mentally break someone. I just want peace.”

JWoww moved on with Zach Clayton Carpinello while Roger admitted to Us Weekly he is “casually and cautiously” dating. Even though Zach, 24, acted flirty with Angelina Pivarnick while they were at a club in Las Vegas, he seems to be committed to making his relationship with JWoww work as the two were spotted together in Florida recently.

Meanwhile, Roger expressed his thoughts about the situation. “I want peace with my ex-wife for my kids, and if there is turmoil in her life and in her household, it’s just not a good thing for our children, so I wish nothing but the best for her,” he told the outlet in October. “I wish them all well, and I hope Jenni and Zack can work through their issues if they deem it worth saving.”

Despite Roger and JWoww’s relationship not working out, the handsome hunk is looking forward to the future. “I’m content knowing I left everything I had on the table with my marriage, and that’s not to say I was perfect in any way,” he said. “It’s simply to say I fought for what I truly believe was right. Onwards and upwards. The world has enough negativity, and I want to start a brand new chapter and fill it with positivity.”
