Selena Gomez’s Mom Still Causing Tension Between Her and Justin Bieber (EXCLUSIVE)

Is it too late now to say sorry? Selena Gomez doesn’t think so — especially when it comes to Justin Bieber making up with her mom. The former Disney Channel star is desperate for her boyfriend and mom Mandy Teefey to make amends.

“There has been so much bad blood between them,” a source told In Touch exclusively. “Selena has told Justin that it’s his responsibility to make things right, no what it takes.” This past December, Mandy was hospitalized over her daughter’s reconciliation with the pop star shortly after her kidney transplant.

However, according to the insider, “Justin doesn’t even know where to begin with Mandy,” which may explain why the couple is reportedly taking a break. “They were having a lot of little disagreements recently and one fight, in particular, blew up and caused them to decide to ‘break up,’ however, they’ve been in contact the entire time and their feelings for each other have not changed,” another source told E!. “They will absolutely get back together and they are not over, but they both need some time away from each other.”

Selena, 25, hasn’t seen Justin, 24, since his birthday on March 1, when she gushed about him on Instagram. “March 1, 1994, someone I know that happens to be super cool was born. Boom,” she wrote. Despite the minor bump in the road, Selena is not apologizing for her relationship. “It’s not really my concern anymore,” she told Billboard. “My family is great. My health is great. I love deeply and I think that’s just who I am. I’m not really ashamed.”

And she won’t stop until Justin and her mom are on speaking terms again. “She doesn’t think it’s too much to ask that he try to make amends with her mom,” a source explained to In Touch. “She knows she truly won’t be happy until the people she loves the most in the world have finally made peace.”
