Jana Kramer Says Justin Timberlake Holding Hands With Alisha Wainwright Is ‘Just Wrong’

After Justin Timberlake was spotted holding hands with his costar Alisha Wainwright at a bar in New Orleans in late November, actress Jana Kramer is now weighing in on the sticky situation. “It’s just wrong,” the 35-year-old told her husband, Mike Caussin, and guest cohost Sara Cusik during her “Whine Down” podcast on Sunday, December 1. “It’s just because again, you’re putting yourself in a bad situation of basically like, hey, you’re inviting the next step if there’s a next step.”

The One Tree Hill alum admitted she “held hands with people” before she got married to her husband, but she later “learned” her past actions were inappropriate. However, she told her 32-year-old man she would “slaughter” him if his “hands were on someone else.”

On the other hand, the athlete defended the 38-year-old pop star and said people let their guard down when they drink alcohol. “Just seeing how drunk he was, who knows what was being said. Who knows the story?” he said. “All I’m saying is that there’s a little bit of room somewhere in there for that.”

The “Can’t Stop the Feeling” crooner and Alisha, 30, are currently filming their movie, Palmer, together in Louisiana. On November 21, the duo went to The Absinthe House on Bourbon Street, where they appeared to be holding hands, chatting and enjoying one another’s company. Later on in the night, Justin — who is married to Jessica Biel, and they share their son, Silas, 4, together — appeared to be drunk. At one point, the brunette beauty looked like she was stroking Justin’s knee, and they held hands underneath the table. Before they left the establishment, Justin’s coworkers helped him regain his composure, according to video footage obtained by The Sun.

Despite the photo evidence, it seems like Justin and Alisha are “just friends,” a source who was at the bar the same night told Us Weekly. “Several cast members were there, and it was just a cast gathering,” the insider added. “Nothing remotely romantic is going on with Justin and Alisha. The whole cast is shooting out there and like to hang out together. They were very much in public and nothing inappropriate was happening.” Alisha’s rep also echoed similar sentiments. “There is no validity to this speculation. They are working on a project together,” a statement obtained by the outlet read.

Since then, Justin has not spoken out about his marriage or his friendship with Alisha. Three days after the pair were out and about, the Grammy winner was back to work on set of his new film. Meanwhile, Jessica, 37, was photographed for the first time on November 26 with her wedding ring on. “She’s an extremely private person who hates being gossiped about,” a source told In Touch exclusively. “Just because she’s wearing it doesn’t mean she’s not mad. She feels totally humiliated by Justin and still hasn’t forgiven him,” the insider added.
