After Justin Timberlake and his costar Alisha Wainwright were spotted holding hands at a bar in New Orleans, people were in a frenzy over what was happening between the two of them. Now, In Touch can reveal the photos that made headlines.

The 38-year-old pop star and Alisha, 30, are currently filming their movie, Palmer, together — a film about an ex-convict “who strikes up a friendship with a boy from a troubled home,” the description reads on IMDB — in Louisiana. The duo went to The Absinthe House on Bourbon Street on Thursday, November 21, where they appeared to be holding hands, chatting and enjoying one another’s company.

Later on in the night, Justin — who is married to Jessica Biel, and they share their son, Silas, 4, together — appeared to be intoxicated. At one point, the brunette beauty appeared to stroke the “Cry Me a River” crooner’s knee, and then they held hands underneath the table. Ultimately, Justin’s coworkers helped him stand up as he stumbled out of the established, according to video footage obtained by The Sun.

However, it seems like Justin and Alisha are “just friends,” a source who was at the bar the same night told Us Weekly. “Several cast members were there, and it was just a cast gathering,” the insider explained. “Nothing remotely romantic is going on with Justin and Alisha. The whole cast is shooting out there and like to hang out together. They were very much in public and nothing inappropriate was happening.”

A second insider revealed the Friends With Benefits actor and the Florida native “are like brother and sister” and “are definitely not hooking up.” Alisha’s rep also cleared the air about the rumors. “There is no validity to this speculation. They are working on a project together,” a statement obtained by the outlet read.

Since then, Justin has not said anything about his marriage or his friendship with Alisha. On Sunday, November 24 — just three days after his night on the town — he was back on set of his new film and wore a blue prison-like suit. The Grammy winner also wore two different outfits and held a coffee in his hand.
