Jamie Lynn Spears Spotted Out With Husband on Easter Sunday Following Her Father’s Hospitalization

Happy Easter! Jamie Lynn Spears was spotted with her husband, Jamie Watson, and her daughters Maddie Aldridge and Ivey Watson on Sunday, April 21, in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisana. The family-of-four looked adorable in their matching pastel-colored outfits as they headed into an Easter church service. The outing comes months after the 28-year-old’s father Jamie Spears’ unexpected colon rupture, which almost cost him his life. The Zoey 101 alum is most definitely a hardworking mom to her two kids, but she has also made time to support her 66-year-old father since his hospitalization in November 2018, a source revealed to Us Weekly. “She and her husband have been helping Jamie as much as they can. She’s a caretaker, even though she’s the youngest. They are a tight-knit family.”

Jamie’s decline in health first made headlines on January 4, after Britney Spears took to Instagram to reveal that she was indefinitely postponing her Las Vegas show, Britney: Domination, so that she could help her father. “I don’t even know where to start with this, because this is so tough for me to say,” she wrote. “I will not be performing my new show, Domination … A couple of months ago, my father was hospitalized and almost died. We’re all so grateful that he came out of it alive, but he still has a long road ahead of him. I had to make the difficult decision to put my full focus and energy on my family at this time.”

As for the 37-year-old singer, she was also out and about on Easter, seemingly taking a quick break from the wellness center she’s been staying at. As In Touch previously reported, the blonde beauty checked herself into a wellness center on Wednesday, April 3, in hopes to take a breather from the spotlight to focus on herself amid her father’s recent health issues. “Britney was losing it. She’s not coping with the fact that her dad isn’t going to make it. She had a breakdown,” an insider exclusively told In Touch.

The “Toxic” singer was spotted looking a little dazed and confused on Sunday, April 21, as she carried her belongings to her car alongside her boyfriend Sam Ashgari at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills. “Britney and Sam came out of the Montage a little after 5 p.m. They had been there all day together,” an eye witness told In Touch. “Everyone has been saying that she was held against her will at the facility, but that doesn’t seem to be the case at all. We know they spent all day there and believe she may have gone back to the facility afterward. It seems like she was just getting out and having a break, and it seems to be working.”

The Grammy winner has since received an immense amount of support from family and friends – including her younger sis.
