Coco Austin Felt ‘Ice Loves Coco’ Was “Overbearing” (EXCLUSIVE)

While fans loved watching [Ice Loves Coco](https://www.eonline.com/shows/icelovescoco) on E! from 2011-2013, Coco Austin opened up exclusively to In Touch about how she REALLY felt doing the reality series. We've seen her and Ice-T — who wed in 2002 and share a two-year-old daughter, Chanel Nicole — on a number of small screen shows over the years, but this one was definitely different.

"We did that for three years. It was a lot of work. People don't realize how much a camera is in your own personal life every single day — so it's not saying we won't do other shows, but with Ice Loves Coco it was a little overbearing," the blonde bombshell shared at the Long Island Bulldog Rescue and Beth Stern & Friends' Bash for the Bulldogs in NYC — which took place at the Rosenthal Pavilion at the NYU Kimmel Center earlier this month.

Of course, we watch Ice play Odafin Tutuola on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit — which Coco has made guest appearances on — and they also did a talk show called Ice & Coco in 2015. Earlier this year, the model teased that she'd return to reality TV in a new form. “I get questions like crazy on my website. They want to know my fitness regime and what diapers I use on Chanel and you know, every little detail, so not only do I write a baby blog about my journey with her, but it’s just an overwhelming response!” she told Hollywood Life back in April. “Women need to talk, women need to open up and have the conversation, and I’m here for it and there for them. It has to do with a mommy show, about women, taboo subjects, and all that good stuff!”

Coco was thrilled to be part of the night's special event and explained, "I felt the need to use my name to bring the awareness, because people don't realize that when you hear 'Long Island,' it's not just Long Island. It's all of the East Coast, and people also don't realize that bulldogs are very high maintenance — very lovable, but very high maintenance — and people will take one in and can't take over that high maintenance, so there's a lot of them that need help and since I owned two — one recently past — they're such lovers in the family. If I love them so much, I think they'll love them so much."
