It’s been nearly a month since the New York Times published a shocking exposé revealing the accusations of rampant sexual misconduct by Harvey Weinstein. Since the initial report — in which Ashley Judd shared an incident that took place nearly 20 years ago at the Peninsula Beverly Hills hotel — countless women have come forward to share their horrifying run-ins with the 65-year-old.
Harvey may finally face legal action for his alleged crimes. On Nov. 2, it was revealed by CBS News that the NYPD was investigating claims that Harvey raped Boardwalk Empire actress Paz de la Huerta twice in 2010. Though many women have accused him of harassment and assault, this is by far the worst attack yet, with Paz saying he “pushed me on the bed,” after he offered to drive her home from a party and insisted on coming inside for a drink. “It happened all very suddenly.”
Since the exposé, action has been taken against Weinstein — both personally and professionally, before anyone actually tried to press charges. Not only was he fired from The Weinstein Company, which he co-founded, but he was also revealed that his wife, Georgina Chapman, decided to leave him because of his past. In a statement, she said, “My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions. I have chosen to leave my husband. Caring for my young children is my first priority.”
While he was avoiding the spotlight, he did speak to the press. “I’m not doing okay but I’m trying,” he said. “You know what, we all make mistakes… A second chance, I hope.” According to multiple sources, he has since checked in to in-patient treatment facility.
Though Weinstein is seemingly getting the treatment he needs, it would appear that all the allegations are only the tip of the iceberg. Check out the gallery below to learn more about all the women who have accused Weinstein — so far.
