Elizabeth Hurley Reveals True Feelings About Miley Cyrus Amid Billy Ray Romance

Elizabeth Hurley formed an opinion on Miley Cyrus way before they were introduced by Billy Ray Cyrus.

While appearing on Sirius XM’s Andy Cohen Live, the Bedazzled actress, 61, revealed Miley was a well-known name in her house for years prior to her becoming her boyfriend’s daughter. She recalled, “I’d never met her, but my son used to love Hannah Montana, so he loved Father Montana,” speaking of her son Damian, who she shares with businessman Steve Bing.

“He loved Miley too, so I always knew who she was, and when he was a young teen, he used to love all her music,” she continued. “I used to have to watch her music videos, like “Wrecking Ball,” a zillion times with him, so we were very familiar with who she was, and I knew I was going to like her.”

Since meeting the Grammy winner, the actress’ thoughts haven’t changed much.

“I do like her,” Elizabeth said. “She’s adorable.”

“I’ve been lucky to meet some of his kids and they seem fabulous,” she added.

Elizabeth and Billy Ray confirmed their romance in April 2025. The two first met while filming the 2022 holiday film Christmas in Paradise.

According to the country singer, the connection was immediately apparent.

While on The Ty Bentil Show, he recalled, “We did very few scenes together, but the couple times we were in the same scene, there was a chemistry there that [I] felt.

“We just laughed, and it was at a time [when] I wasn’t laughing a lot and I found that the oddest thing.”

Billy also remembered how he felt when they rekindled their connection years later.

He added, “Then two more years of life went by, and it was this evolution that some might’ve looked at and certainly I felt like, ‘Wow, can life get any harder? Can it get any tougher for me?’

“At a certain point, it was like, ‘You can’t get knocked down any flatter than lying on your back when life is kicking you in the gut.'”
