Timothee Chalamet ‘Agonizing’ Over Travis Scott’s ‘The Odyssey’ Role: ‘Biggest Hit Movie of the Year’

Kylie Jenner‘s boyfriend Timothée Chalamet is rolling his eyes over Travis Scott‘s performance in The Odyssey, a source tells In Touch.

Director Christopher Nolan handpicked the 35-year-old rapper — who shares daughter Stormi, 8, and son Aire, 4, with the reality TV star, 28 — to play the bard Phemius in the Greek epic, which has him sharing the screen with Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson.

“Timmy has had to live with the slow-moving bulldozer of Travis eventually seriously getting into acting for almost two years now,” says the source. “But that doesn’t make it any less painful or annoying.”

It also doesn’t help that Nolan, 55, gave Chalamet, 30, his “huge breakthrough” in the 2014 sci-fi film Interstellar, the source adds.

“Timmy gets jealous and he has a hard time pulling away from the spotlight, let alone relinquishing it to somebody else,” admits the source. “It’s agonizing for him to see Travis just waltz into great reviews acting in the biggest hit movie of the year!”

Chalamet and Scott have a famously fraught relationship.

As In Touch previously reported, the “SICKO MODE” singer seemingly shaded the Marty Supreme star on Instagram after he lost the Best Actor Oscar to Michael B. Jordan last year.

“It’s awkward as hell because, like it or not, Timmy and Travis are in each other’s lives,” notes the source, “even if they’re not anything close to friends.”

Scott is just getting started in Hollywood too.

Per Variety, he recently signed a first-look deal with Paramount Pictures to develop everything from TV and film to theater projects.
