‘OutDaughtered’ Star Danielle Busby Reveals She and Adam Are ‘Open’ to Adoption

OutDaughtered star Danielle Busby revealed she and husband Adam Busby have no plans to adopt a child anytime soon, but they’re not ruling it out as an option.

The Graeson Bee Boutique owner, 37, was asked if she and Adam, 38, would consider expanding their brood with an adoptive son or daughter during a new Instagram Q&A on Thursday, January 21. “My heart and hands are full with these six little loves, but if God placed adoption on our hearts, this is something Adam and I have always said we would be open to,” she replied to the inquiry. 

Danielle previously said that she and her man were very content with their family of eight. “Shop’s closed!” the TV personality told Us Weekly in June 2019. The Lake Charles, Louisiana, native confessed it “would be nice to have a little boy and carry on the Busby name,” but they didn’t have any expectation for it to happen.

Adam also noted they will “never completely shut the door on” adopting a little one. “It’s something we’ll always stay open-minded to,” he continued, adding, “As far as … [Danielle] birthing any more children, no, that’s not going to happen.”

The cute couple — who tied the knot in 2006 — have a set of all-girl quintuplets Parker, Hazel, Ava, Riley and Olivia and an older daughter, Blayke. Despite their hectic lifestyle, the two make sure they spend plenty of (alone!) time together.

“Don’t ever give up on your date nights,” Danielle told the outlet. “It’s all about a schedule. What we hear most from other couples is, ‘We don’t have time,’ but we don’t have time, we just make time. That’s the advice is to find that day and make the time. We do a date night, either a Friday or Saturday. Sometimes [it’s] during the week if we have something going on during the weekend.” 

Adam and Danielle went all out while celebrating their 14-year wedding anniversary in April 2020 by jetting off to Playa Mujeres, Mexico, over the summer. 

The TLC dad has since been the ultimate doting spouse to his longtime love as she waits to get answers on her health following various tests. Danielle was hospitalized for “alarming sensations in her arm and legs” in November. 

Danielle was all smiles in her latest snap with Adam and raved over how supportive he has been. “Wow! Look who gets to come to an actual doctor‘s appointment with me! Gonna snag a quick lunch date with him too,” she wrote.
