Kylie Jenner Felt ‘Insecure’ While Dating Travis Scott: They Had ‘Major Trust Issues’

On Thursday, October 3, Kylie Jenner took to social media to confirm her split from Travis Scott. While the KUWTK star, 22, assured fans that the breakup was amicable — “Travis and I are on great times,” Kylie tweeted — a source exclusively revealed to In Touch that things between the “SICKO MODE” rapper, 28, and makeup mogul were far from perfect. “Kylie has serious trust issues. She has her own life and career and child and can’t watch over him,” the insider divulged, making mention of the couple’s 20-month-old daughter, Stormi Webster. “She is this billionaire megastar and she feels so insecure about herself because of her relationship,” the source continued, adding, “They’ve had major trust issues from the start.”

In March, an additional source revealed to In Touch that Kylie suspected Travis of cheating. However, she didn’t “have any solid evidence.” Shortly thereafter, Travis canceled his concert in Buffalo, New York — which only led to further public speculation.

That said, Travis’ rep “vehemently” denied the claims: “It is not true. He did not cheat. He canceled one show tonight because he is under the weather.” Fast forward two months later, and the lovebirds looked happier than ever at The Met Gala in NYC.

In fact, up until Kylie and Travis’ last public appearance in August, their relationship seemed rock solid, including their sex life. “A lot of people claim that having a baby can hurt your sex life, but I feel like that’s the opposite of our experience,” Travis told Playboy in an interview published on September 13.

“Yeah, I feel like we’ve definitely proven that rumor to be wrong,” Kylie playfully echoed. In addition to boasting about their, er, bedroom antics, Kylie also thanked Travis for helping her to embrace her sexuality. 

“You remind me that motherhood and sexuality can coexist, and just because you embrace your sexuality doesn’t mean you have loose morals or you’re not a good mother,” Kylie said. “You can be sexy and still be a badass mom.”

As it stands, a third source told In Touch that Kylie’s family is holding out hope that this break is only “temporary.” Sigh, us too.
