Another day, another reason to obsess over Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott’s picture-perfect relationship. As the creative director of Kylie’s upcoming cover story with Playboy, the “Sicko Mode” rapper, 28, had the pleasure of interviewing his longtime ladylove and mother of his daughter, Stormi Webster

In addition to opening up about the role sexuality plays in her life as a mother, Kylie, 22, also revealed what makes her relationship with Travis so successful — especially as two people very much in the public eye.

“We think the same and have the same goals and passions in life,” the makeup mogul expressed in quotes obtained by PEOPLE. “Besides the fact that we have good chemistry, we have a lot of fun together.”

Fun, indeed! For Kylie’s birthday in August, the pair cruised around the Mediterranean for nearly two weeks on a luxury yacht (which they jumped off of in between jet skiing and shopping sprees).

“You’re my best friend,” Kylie continued. “Through all the ups and downs that every relationship has, we evolve together through them and keep getting stronger.” Beyond that, Kylie discussed how Travis helps her understand that she be both a mother and bona fide sex symbol all at once.

“You remind me that motherhood and sexuality can coexist, and just because you embrace your sexuality doesn’t mean you have loose morals or you’re not a good mother,” Kylie said. “You can be sexy and still be a badass mom.”

Well said, girl! While Kylie admitted in the interview that she “never thought” she’d pose for Playboy, it’s clear that the older she gets, the more comfortable she is embracing all sides of herself.

Kylie’s Playboy cover story hits newsstands on Tuesday, September 17.
