Offset, You OK? Cardi B and Bruno Mars Pack on PDA in Raunchy New Music Video
Is it hot in here or is it just us? Cardi B and Bruno Mars dropped their latest music video for their song “Please Me” on Friday, March 1, and it is sexual. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper, 26, is even grinding hard on the Hawaii native, 33, in one scene. Welp, we hope that Offset realizes that this is just for work!
Many fans didn’t seem too concerned about their chemistry, either. One person wrote, “Part of the job. She goes home to [Offset], not Bruno. Just gotta learn to make that money. They’re just visuals,” while another echoed, “It was tastefully done. They created the [image] but without all the contact!! She’s a good woman.” A third chimed in, writing, “Such a sexy and cute video. I love it!!!!”
In December 2018, Cardi revealed that she and Offset broke up. “I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now,” she told her followers via Instagram. “And we’re really good friends and you know we’re really good business partners and, you know, he’s always somebody that I run to talk to, and we’ve got a lot of love for each other, but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time and it’s nobody’s fault. I guess we grew out of love, but we’re not together anymore.”
Fortunately, the duo made up just in time to walk the red carpet at the 2019 Grammy Awards where they shared a NSFW kiss. When the New York native took home the coveted trophy for Rap Album of the Year, her man was right by her side on stage. “You, husband, thank you,” she said. “Nah, seriously, ‘cause he was like, ‘You’re going to do this album, girl. We’re gonna have this baby, and we’re gonna make this album.’”
Since then, the hip-hop stars seem to be in a really great place. We’re rooting for these two!
