Brody Jenner Makes Fun of Ex Kaitlynn Carter’s Rumored Romance With Miley Cyrus on Instagram

Clearly, someone is finding this whole breakup thing to be pretty light-hearted. Brody Jenner took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the alleged romance between his ex Kaitlynn Carter and singer Miley Cyrus — and he wasn’t afraid to joke around about it either.

“Don’t let yesterday take up too much of today,” the eldest Jenner bro, 35, captioned a photo of himself on a cliff overlooking the ocean in Malibu. His Hills: New Beginnings costar and pal Brandon Thomas Lee decided to chime in on the (pretty obvious) caption and make it even more forward.

“Let’s round this scandal out and post a pic of us making out 😘,” Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson‘s 23-year-old son hilariously commented on the post, referring to the recent photos of their costar Kaitlynn, 30, and Miley, 26, getting close in Italy.

Brody seemed to vibe with the comment because his response was full of laughter — and possibly even a little dig featuring Miley’s ex Liam Hemsworth.  “🤣Watch out!” the MTV star replied. “Pics of Liam and I holding hands on the beach coming soon 👬”

Believe it or not, Miley actually replied to Brody and Brandon’s comments with her own little bout of ~shade~. “@brodyjenner Go take a nap in your truck and cool off,” the southern babe wrote, including the hashtag “#HotGirlSummer.” Brody originally commented with the same phrase on one of Kaitlynn and Miley‘s original vacay pics — so it looks like everyone might be throwing veiled disses here.

As far as Kaitlynn’s response, she seems to be slightly more levelheaded than the rest. As she and her pals flew over Italy in a helicopter, she filmed the beautiful landscape and set the footage to “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” by Bob Marley. Sounds like a little message to us.

Fans and followers were pretty shocked when Brody and Kaitlynn announced their split on August 2, after five years together. “They love and respect one another, and know that this is the best decision for their relationship moving forward,” Brody’s rep Scott Newman told In Touch.

Shortly after the separation, the reality star was spotted flirting with unidentified women in Las Vegas … so it seemed natural that the blonde beauty would want to take some time away, too. That’s where Miley came in.

She and Liam, 29, officially split on August 10, while the pals were already enjoying themselves in Italy together on a boat. Once the news was out, photos of the two ladies smooching made their way onto the internet, seemingly proving their friendship is, in fact, more.
