Britney Spears Resurfaces in Public Just 1 Week After Checking Herself Into Wellness Facility

Stronger! Britney Spears was spotted out in public for the first time since checking herself into a wellness facility and it’s so great to see her bouncing back. The singer has been making strides to better her mental health since struggling with her father’s illness.

It looks like the “Womanizer” singer’s decision to step back from the limelight was extremely beneficial because she’s “feeling refreshed,” according to E! News. The Vegas performer was seen on Thursday, April 11 heading to a hair salon in Los Angeles. The eyewitness claimed that they saw the pop star “arriving with three people from her team to get her blonde roots touched up and extensions retouched.”

“Several people worked on Britney’s hair and were very quick and efficient to get her out of there as fast as possible. She seemed fine and content … [She] was definitely excited to her hair done,” the insider continued. “Britney is excited to see her children and get back into her routine but is taking one day at a time.”

On April 3, In Touch confirmed that the former Mickey Mouse Club member had willingly entered a wellness facility. The family insider said, “Britney was losing it, she’s not coping with the fact that her dad isn’t going to make it. She had a breakdown.” They also noted that her father, Jamie Spears, “actually convinced her to check into a place.”

Britney revealed back on January 4 that she was canceling her new Domination show to take care of her ailing father. “I’ve been looking forward to this show and seeing all of you this year, so doing this breaks my heart. However, it’s important to always put your family first … and that’s the decision I had to make,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.

She explained, “A couple of months ago, my father was hospitalized and almost died. We’re all so grateful that he came out of it alive, but he still has a long road ahead of him. I had to make the difficult decision to put my full focus and energy on my family at this time. I hope you all can understand.”
