Beth Chapman Spends Quality Time With Her Niece After Being Rushed to the Hospital: ‘She Brings Me So Much Joy’

After a tough weekend, Beth Chapman seems to be spending time with her loved ones — including her niece. The blonde beauty posted an adorable photo of the two together on Instagram on Monday, April 8.

“I just love this lil lady. She brings me so much joy,” the 51-year-old wrote in the heartfelt post. “She was a creeper n [sic] my dinner date last night and bounced up and surprised me with her beautiful smile and just unconditional love for her aunt BEFF. I can never say how much I needed her sweet lil smile and her infectious laugh.”

She added, “I don’t get to see my own grandkids very often, so she fills a big void in my heart. Thank you @ Mary Needham Carey and Kim Needham Van Horn for sharing this amazing beast with me. She truly lights up my life.”

It’s great that the Dog’s Most Wanted star is smiling again, since she was rushed to the hospital on Saturday, April 6, after she had trouble breathing amid her cancer battle. Now, In Touch can confirm that Beth is back at her house and on the mend.

“She is at home resting after being released from [the] hospital,” an insider revealed to Us Weekly. “Doctors drained almost four liters of fluid from her lungs. Dog was by her side throughout the entire process. She is not in chemo contrary to reports.”

Even her followers are hopeful that the Colorado native will win the fight. One person wrote, “Praying you’re doing well. You need joy in your life, thankful to see she gives you this,” while another echoed, “She is soo cute, and kids bring so much joy in our lives. It’s nice to see you so happy and of course, you’re a beautiful young lady.” A third person chimed in, writing, “You look great, Beth!! We’ve been praying for you! God is not finished with you yet!”

Of course, her hubby, Duane “Dog” Chapman, couldn’t be more supportive. “I am going to be right there with her,” Dog told In Touch in December. “First when she woke up from the [latest] surgery, she said, ‘Where’s the Dog?’ and the nurse was confused, she said, ‘Did she bring her dog with her?’ And I said, ‘Yes, ma’am.’ I’m here every moment I can be for her.”
