It Seems Like Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas Just Tied the Knot in Vegas and We Couldn’t Be More Excited

Did you see what we saw? It seems like Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas just had a surprise wedding on May 1 after the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada — and Diplo shared the whole ceremony on Instagram Live. Though none of the stars involved have yet confirmed if the ceremony was legit, it certainly seems that way based on the DJ’s video clips. “Gonna hit this wedding real quick,” he shared on his Story with a clip of the supposed bride and groom walking into an Elvis-themed chapel. “True love,” he shared on a selfie, tagging the Game of Thrones actress and the Jonas Brothers singer in his post.

In the Live, he also shared video of the couple standing at the front of the room as an Elvis impersonator presided over the ceremony. “I, Joseph, take you, Sophie, to be my wedded wife. With this ring, I thee wed. And I love you,” Joe repeated after Elvis. Then the broom kissed the bride’s hands before it was Sophie’s turn to take Joe as her “wedded husband.” Together, they said, “I promise you I will never leave you. I will love and trust you all the days of my life in sickness and health, in plenty and in want, forever and ever.”

Fans pretty much immediately lost their minds, sharing their excitement on Twitter. “Nick [Jonas] & Priyanka [Chopra] literally had 72 weddings & Joe & Sophie just got married in Vegas after an award show. I’m laughing so hard,” wrote one. “The fact that Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner left the BBMAs and immediately got married by Elvis in Vegas and Diplo LIVE-streamed it and this is not at all a joke is legit the best thing I’ve seen in a really long time,” added another. And some eagle-eyed fans made sure to call out the best part: “JOE AND SOPHIE GOT MARRIED WITH … RING POPS.”

The whole thing is iconic AF and reflective of the couple’s fun, silly relationship. Earlier in the night, the bride jammed out with her now-maybe-sisters-in-law, Priyanka and Danielle Jonas, during their husbands'(!!!) performance. The three ~Jonas sisters~ reunited after their stunning performance in the “Sucker” music video, and they pretty much stole the show once again. Now, the three couples have another reason to celebrate, and that’s an impromptu wedding. Think Joe and Sophie knew this was going to happen by the time he took the stage earlier in the evening or was it even more spur-of-the-moment than it seemed?
