Nathan shared a photo of the duo enjoying the 2025 Florida Strawberry Festival in Hillsborough County, Florida, on March 6, 2025. Taylor rocked a denim mini dress and cowboy boots while Nathan coordinated in a striped shirt, jeans, cowboy boots and a cowboy hat, calling his girlfriend “My lady,” in the caption.

Taylor showed how in love the two are in a March 10, 2025, Instagram video set to Zach Top‘s “There’s the Sun.” As the duo sat on a bench drinking beers on Nathan’s ranch, he got up and asked for Taylor’s hand as they two began a romantic slow dance. He dipped his girlfriend before the pair kissed and shared a passionate embrace. “Men, take notes,” Taylor wrote in the caption, along with the hashtags, “farm life,” “two step,” “date night” and “country living.”

Taylor BeDell Helps Out Around Nathan Smothers’ Florida Farm

The Missouri native shared an Instagram video captioned, “On Florida time,” on March 15, 2025. It showed Taylor in denim overalls while helping a horse across a field. She also rode shotgun in Nathan’s jeep around his ranch.

Taylor took video of Nathan swimming in his backyard pool, while the duo also cooked in his kitchen, played with his dogs and attended a Reba McIntyre concert.

Nathan Smothers Knew Taylor BeDell Was the 1 for Him During ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ Season 2

During the reunion in May 2024, Nathan confessed that Taylor was the “one that caught my eye off the rip.” The connection the pair had after their first solo date sealed the deal.

“I wanted to give each of the girls a chance and be able to meet them and get to know them better. But honestly, from pretty much halfway through, I would say I was fairly certain I was going to pick Taylor,” he said.

Nathan Smothers and Taylor BeDell Have a Long Distance Romance

At the time Taylor went on Farmer Wants a Wife, she was working as a hairstylist in Dallas, Texas.

At the show’s reunion, she and Nathan revealed they had been seeing each other at least once a month after filming wrapped up, and Taylor was hoping to eventually move to Florida.

“My lease is up in September, and then there’s a little extension period until November,” the hair extension specialist explained. “But somewhere between September or November is when we’re thinking that I might be able to move down to Florida. If I could, I would move there literally tomorrow, but it’s kind of just a process of transferring over my license to Florida and then my lease and everything. But I’m definitely super excited and looking forward to that. That’s kind of like the next step.”

Nathan paid a visit to his girlfriend in Texas in September 2024, sharing, “Celebrating Taylor’s birthday a little early with a weekend trip to Dallas,” along with a photo of the pair dressed up for a dinner date.

As of February 2025, Taylor shared fashionable photos taken in Dallas and appears to still be living in Texas.

Where Is Nathan Smothers’ Farm Located?

Nathan is a fourth generation citrus and cattle farmer from Bartow, Florida, located outside of Tampa.

He grew up working on his family’s farm and became the man of the house at the age of 12 after his dad died. After graduating from college, Nathan returned to the 300-acre farm to live and work full time. The ranch also includes more than 500 acres of cattle property.
