Rebecca Loos Claims She Had an Affair With David Beckham

Rebecca began working as David’s personal assistant in 2003 when he began playing for Real Madrid. She worked for the professional athlete for only a few months before she was terminated, and she later claimed in 2004 that she had a four-month affair with David during her time as his employee.

David was married to his wife, Victoria Beckham, and they shared two children at the time of the alleged affair.

David Issued a Statement Denying the Alleged Affair

After Rebecca came forward with her claims, David addressed the allegations by issuing a statement.

“During the past few months, I have become accustomed to reading more and more ludicrous stories about my private life,” he said at the time. “What appeared this morning is just one further example. The simple truth is that I am very happily married and have a wonderful wife and two very special kids. There is nothing any third party can do to change this.”

Meanwhile, Victoria kept mostly quiet about the scandal until she and David starred in the 2023 Netflix documentary, Beckham. She said that David’s move to Real Madrid was “the hardest period” of their marriage and that she had been the “most unhappy” she had ever been in her life.

“It wasn’t that I felt unheard because I was always mindful of the focus he needed,” she added of the situation.

Rebecca Loos Doubled Down on the Affair Allegations in March 2025

While David has denied having an affair with Rebecca, she insisted that she was telling the truth during an interview with 60 Minutes Australia on March 30, 2025.

“In my opinion, it was a very brave thing to do to go up against them,” she said about her decision to come forward with the allegations “I have stuck to the truth. I’ve never exaggerated. I never lied about a single thing.”

Rebecca continued, “Why? Because I’m going up against the strongest, most powerful couple in the media who have all the money in the world for the best PR, the best lawyers. And all I had on my side was the truth.”
