The ship has sailed in Tom Cruise’s friendship with David and Victoria Beckham. The pair, who own an $80 million pad in Miami Beach, are politely avoiding overtures from the action film star, a source exclusively tells In Touch.
“Tom is going to be spending more time in Florida and is hitting up the Beckhams,” the insider says. “He doesn’t have a lot of friends anymore, so he’s focused on wooing them.”
To that end, the 62-year-old has been “bombarding them and saying he can’t wait to hang out,” adds the insider. Posh and Becks are less than thrilled by it. “They aren’t blowing him off completely,” says the insider. “They’ve responded once or twice but they’re not committing to anything.”
In their eyes, the Mission: Impossible star and devoted Scientologist is too intense for their low-key life. “They think he’s a little weird — he has to control every social situation, and they’re not into that!”
