Gregory Tyree Boyce Posted About Death Prior to His Passing — Get to Know the Late ‘Twilight’ Star
Gregory Tyree Boyce, best known for playing Tyler Crowley in the first Twilight film, died on Wednesday, May 13. He was 30 years old.
The actor and his girlfriend, Natalie Adepoju, 27, were both found dead in their Las Vegas condo, E! News reported. The cause of death hasn’t been released for either individual, but Boyce’s mother, Lisa Wayne, confirmed his passing in a heartbreaking Facebook tribute on Sunday, May 17.
“I’m sick without you. I’m torn, I’m lost. I’m in pain,” she wrote. “I’d text you or call you when I was broken or worried about something, and you’d tell me, Ma, I got you, we’ll get thru [sic] this together. Boy. Why did you leave me?”

On December 5, 2019, Boyce shared a tribute to himself on his 30th birthday. “At one point, I didn’t think I would make it to see 30 years old,” he wrote on Instagram. “Over the years, like everyone else, I have made mistakes along the way, but today is one of those days I only reflect on the great ones. What a time to be alive. Happy Dirty 30 self! Let’s make the rest of these years your best!!”
He starred in Apocalypse.
Boyce took a 10-year hiatus from acting, according to his IMDb, but made an appearance in the video short Apocalypse in 2018.
He had a daughter.
Boyce is survived by his 10-year-old daughter, Alaya. His girlfriend also had a child, son Egypt.
He and his mom shared a close bond.
The last photo Boyce wrote was a tribute to his mother. “Happy Mother’s Day again to my right hand/ my roll dog/ my Queen! Love you,” he captioned a snap of her kissing his cheek.
In her Facebook tribute, Lisa revealed the sweet nicknames she called her son. “I love you Greggy, my Hunny,” she said.
