Who Was Bam Margera’s Girlfriend in ‘The Curious Case’?
The woman in The Curious Case of … Bam Margera appeared to be Bam’s now-wife, Dannii Marie. He was dating Dannii at the time of filming, and Dannii was photographed wearing the same pink shirt and black pants from the docuseries outside Chester County Justice Center alongside Bam in July 2023.
Lima, whose guardianship of Bam ended in July 2023, claimed in the docuseries that she was called by Bam’s mother, April Margera, about the former pro skateboarder allegedly threatening to storm her house. Lima claimed that she brought police to the house with her to “keep the peace” as she confronted Bam, as seen in the tense opening scene. However, Bam was already at the house and appeared peaceful until Lima arrived on the property. When she tried to talk to him, he became agitated and yelled, “Why do you suck so bad? Why are you so evil?”
Bam’s girlfriend stepped in to break up the confrontation, telling Lima to “stop” and leave the property. “Please do me a favor and back up,” she told the businesswoman. “You did this on purpose. I don’t trust you either.”

Dannii is a model and a “certified stretch queen,” according to her Instagram page. She is quite the traveler, having worked in Los Angeles, Miami, Palm Beach, Florida, New York City and Charleston, South Carolina. Dannii was also crowned Miss Golden Beach Fitness in 2021.
Bam met Dannii in June 2023, one month before his guardianship came to an end. At the time, the Viva La Bam star had been struggling with his mental health following years of legal issues and drug and alcohol addiction. He told Us Weekly in December 2023 that he had checked into the Sunset Marquis hotel, but “didn’t plan on checking out.”
“I bought a bunch of drugs and I didn’t want to wake up,” he explained. “I had so many lawsuits and lawyers taking my money, and not being on Jackass and having a lawsuit with them. Anytime I got a phone call, it was just an issue.”
Bam continued, “I was like, ‘If I wake up from this amount of drugs and alcohol that I bought, then please show me the best eye candy in the world — and I need a tan pit bull.’”
Dannii was exactly who he was looking for. “The next morning I woke up at the Sunset Marquis [and] I’m like, ‘S–t, I’m alive,’” he said. “I went by the pool and overheard [Dannii] talking about how she’s 44, Sicilian and Irish. When I met her, she said, ‘I have to go home and walk my dog’ — a tan pit bull.”
Bam shared that Dannii, whom he proposed to in October 2023, helped him turn his life around by getting sober and stretching his muscles so he could skate again.
“I always woke up not knowing what to do with the day … I would just look across the street, see an Irish pub and be like, ‘That looks like fun,’” he added. “Now I wake up, I walk the dogs, I stretch, I go to the gym, I go skateboarding. Everything’s a structured fun schedule.”
When Did Bam Margera Marry Dannii Marie?
Bam and Dannii tied the knot after nine months of dating in May 2024, TMZ reported at the time. The couple got married at the Val Verde Historic Hotel in Socorro County, New Mexico, where they filmed the movie Collecting Souls together.
Bam confirmed the marriage news via Instagram, writing, “To all of our friends and family. We’ve been planning this for a while with the Jim Burlson out here in Socorro New Mexico at this rad historical hotel. Danielle Marie MARGERA, it’s official.”
