The pair only fell to the back of the pack a few times throughout the race after struggling with navigation in Bulgaria and Italy.
Carson and Jack finished in first place three times in a row in the final three legs, including at the finish line in Miami during the finale, which aired on CBS on May 15, 2025.
“Oh my god, what more could you want? I feel like the luckiest person in the whole world. I’m overwhelmed. And to do it with my best friend, it’s just the most magical thing ever,” Jack said at the finish line.
Carson added, “Every single day, we woke up, and we laughed, and we had a blast. I could not ask for anybody as amazing as [Jack] in my life, or on this race. Being on this race and being with Jack reminded me how much of a gift he is in my life. That just meant the world to me.”
Jack continued, “We slay dragons together. We are nerds. We go on these adventures all the time in our heads, and to be able to do it in real life is unreal. I can’t believe it’s us. I cannot imagine a more perfect part of our story. When we were young, we were confused, closeted, little queer weirdos. And now we understand each other and ourselves.”
The pair concluded, “We [became] these heroes that we play all the time in our hearts. And now, it’s us. We are the heroes.”

Jack and Carson are the cohosts of the “Dweeb Wars” podcast, where they “go head-to-head to solve life’s dweebiest questions and become the HEAD DWEEB IN CHARGE,” according to the podcast’s description. The reality TV personalities have continued to release new episodes of the show, including recaps of their time on The Amazing Race and regularly scheduled episodes.
In addition to “Dweeb Wars,” the pair also host “Please Don’t Kill Us,” an “interactive actual-play Dungeons & Dragons adventure.”
Meanwhile, both Carson and Jack appear to be in happy relationships and have posted with their boyfriends online. Carson has shared loved-up photos and videos with Alex Cortinas, who appears to be a casting director, while Jack appears to be dating a man named Michael Mort.
