Wendy Williams Gushes Over Her New Man: There’s Somebody ‘I’m Crazy About’

Back and better than ever. Wendy Williams spoke candidly about her dating life while hosting her show on Monday, July 8, following a five-week hiatus. The TV personality proudly revealed that she’s moving on after parting ways with her estranged husband, Kevin Hunter.

“Well, I’m not on the market anymore,” she said, while getting visibly emotional on The Wendy Williams Show. “I don’t know how I’m doing! I’m not in love, but there’s somebody that I’m crazy about.” Wendy, 54, also addressed the rumors that she’s romantically involved with a younger man.

“All right, listen. It’s not who you think. Mother doesn’t deal with children,” Wendy confirmed, after she was linked to a 27-year-old named Marc Tomblin. “But it just so happens that I guess with my charm and wit, I attract people of all ages. If you’re 27, like my new friend Marc — okay, relax.”

“So here’s the deal. The paparazzi are chasing. [Marc is] from L.A. He came to New York, he had never been to New York before,” she explained. “I am a hand-holder. If we go out, I am holding your hand. I went out last night for dinner with my executive producer David Perler and I held his hand.”

Wendy said that she “gets that” younger guys are interested in her, but noted how her ideal partner is actually an older guy with ambition. “When it comes time for the comfort of a man, I need somebody in his 50s, too. And he’s got to work,” the talk show host told her fans. And that’s not all. Wendy shared a few more details about the new mystery man in her life, confirming that he’s a doctor, which garnered a huge reaction from her studio audience.

“You’re not going to blow this for me,” Wendy added, explaining why that’s all she would reveal. “But he’s been married, his kids are in their 20s. And yes, he’s black. I know you’re wondering.”

Wendy filed for divorce from Kevin back in April after more than 21 years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences.” The exes share one child together — a son named Kevin Jr.
