Kanye West and his wife, Bianca Censori, got a lot of people talking when they stepped foot on the red carpet at the 2025 Grammy Awards and she revealed a nude outfit. Shortly after they posed for photos, reports claimed that they were kicked out of the awards show. In light of their quick appearance, many fans are wondering why the couple left the awards show early.

Was Kanye West Kicked Out of the 2025 Grammys?

The rumors began to swirl that Ye and Bianca were kicked out of the awards show on February 2, 2025, when Entertainment Tonight reported that they “showed up” to Crypto.com Arena “uninvited with an entourage of about five people and were escorted out.” However, the outlet deleted the post soon after it was shared.

Pop Base later shared the news that they were reportedly kicked out in a since-deleted post via X, though X added context to reveal that the rumor wasn’t true. “Ye has not been kicked out of the Grammys, ET has now deleted the information about this and is also confirmed by Grammys official website that all nominated artists (Ye is one of them) are invited to the gala,” the post read.

A DailyMail.com insider confirmed Ye and Bianca left shortly after their arrival. The outlet obtained video of the pair outside of Crypto.com walking to their car and getting in before departing the Grammys.

One day after the Grammys, Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that Ye and Bianca weren’t kicked out of the awards show. While Harvey said that Ye and Bianca were invited to attend the awards show, he said that the father of four only wanted to walk the red carpet and leave.

Ye was nominated in the Best Rap Song category for his track “Carnival.” However, the award went to Kendrick Lamar for his song “Not Like Us.”

On February 3, 2025, Ye claimed that journalist Don Lemon was the source of the rumor.

“This goofball that started the rumor that me and my wife got kicked out the Grammies [sic]. Three decades of innovating music and they always k–ns like this,” Ye captioned his since-deleted Instagram post.

Later that day, Don reacted to Ye’s claims in a video via Instagram with the caption, “My response to Ye.”

“First of all, Kanye, Ye — whatever your name is — I did not start a rumor about you being kicked out of the Grammys. I actually corrected it,” the former CNN reporter said. “I saw someone on your team who asked me to correct it because it had been reported everywhere. So first of all, get your s–t straight. And you, of all people, calling me a c–n [laughed]. That Make America Great Again hat must be too tight on your head.”

Ye and Bianca posed for photos on the red carpet ahead of the awards show. While she stepped onto the carpet in a large black jacket, she quickly took it off and revealed a nude dress that showed off her nipples and made her appear nearly naked.

Fans speculated that Bianca’s outfit was a nod to Ye’s Vultures 1 album cover, which features her posing while nearly naked as she stood backwards in only thigh-high boots and a tiny piece of fabric covering her backside.

Shortly after Ye and Bianca appeared on the red carpet, several fans took to social media to slam the pair for her outfit. “Trying to remember the last time i seen bianca censori fully clothed,” one viewer sarcastically wrote via X, referencing her consistently revealing out. Another person commented, “Wtf is that ?? Bianca censori always naked for reasons.”

The backlash continued as a third person chimed in, “Literally have no words on this like tf was he thinking.” Meanwhile, an additional social media user wrote, “This is cringe af !!!”

Several fans have speculated that Ye is responsible for his wife’s risqué outfits, and an insider previously told In Touch that the rumors were true. “It’s at a point where Ye now exerts total control over Bianca’s life. It’s obvious to everyone that he’s picking out her clothes, but it’s a lot more twisted than that,” the source exclusively told In Touch in August 2024.

The insider went on to claim that the way Bianca dresses is very important to Ye. “Before they leave the house, Ye chooses her outfit and then makes her parade around for the camera so he can videotape her from every angle,” the source said.

That said, Bianca’s nude look won the approval of some of her family members. Angelina Censori, Bianca’s sister, shared photos of her sibling’s viral red carpet moment via Insagram Stories in support of the controversial look.
