Tom Brady Seemingly Reacts to Ex Gisele Bundchen’s Pregnancy With Cryptic ‘Landslide’ Instagram Post

Tom Brady posted an Instagram Story with The Chicks’ cover of Fleetwood Mac’s hit “Landslide” playing just hours after his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, pregnancy was confirmed.

The former NFL Star shared a photo of the sunset with three red heart emojis on his Monday, October 28, Story. In the background, he had the emotional song about life’s changes and challenges playing. The specific lyrics that played in Tom’s Story were, “Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love? Can the child within my heart rise above? Can I sail through the changing ocean tides?”

Although Tom, 47, did not directly address his ex’s baby news, many fans took this as his subtle reaction to the announcement.

This is Gisele’s first child with her jiu-jitsu instructor boyfriend, Joaquim Valente. She and Tom also share kids Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11, while Tom has a 17-year-old son named Jack with ex Bridget Moynahan. Gisele, 44, and Tom divorced in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.

The following month, she was first linked to Joaquim, 35, when they were spotted together on multiple outings. However, in her first post-divorce interview in March 2023, the supermodel denied the dating rumors. “I think, at this point, unfortunately, because I’m divorced, I’m sure that they’re going to try to attach me to anything,” she told Vanity Fair.

However, she praised Joaquim and his brothers for how they supported her and her family amid difficult times. “I’m so grateful to know all of them because not only have they helped me and helped my kids, but they have become great friends, and Joaquim especially,” she explained. “He’s our teacher and, most importantly, he’s a person that I admire and that I trust. It’s so good to have that kind of energy, to have my kids around that type of energy.”

Earlier this year, Gisele reiterated that she did not cheat on her ex-husband with the trainer. “This is something that happens to a lot of women who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are la­beled as being unfaithful,” she insisted in an interview with The New York Times.

She also confirmed that her relationship with Joaquim was “platonic” before it became romantic. “This is the first time I am seeing someone who was a friend of mine first,” she added. People reported that the two did not officially start dating until June 2023.

At the time of Gisele and Tom’s split, the public questioned whether his decision to unretire from the NFL for an additional season was what plagued the A-list couples’ marriage. “What’s been said is one piece of a much bigger puzzle,” Gisele shared. “It’s not so black and white.”

She added, “Sometimes you grow together; sometimes you grow apart. When I was 26 years old and he was 29 years old, we met, we wanted a family, we wanted things together. As time goes by, we realize that we just wanted different things and now we have a choice to make. That doesn’t mean you don’t love the person. It just means that in order for you to be authentic and truly live the life that you want to live, you have to have somebody who can meet you in the middle, right? It’s a dance. It’s a balance.”
