The Weeknd Is Casually Dating Another One of Justin Bieber’s Exes, Chantel Jeffries

There's one thing Justin Bieber and The Weeknd have in common — besides the fact that they are both incredibly talented singers — and that is, their taste in women. The "Starboy" singer dated Selena Gomez for 10 months in 2017 after she had been in an on-and-off relationship with the Biebs since 2009.

Now, The Weeknd has moved on to another one of Bieber's former gals — Chantel Jeffries. While the 28-year-old rapper tried to keep his love life on the down low following his split from Selena, fans speculated that he was secretly seeing ex-girlfriend Bella Hadid again. Rumors surfaced that the pair were canoodling at Coachella, but Bella shot those down on Instagram ASAP.

So was it Chantel that The Weeknd was actually smooching at the music festival? Apparently, so! Sources told Life & Style that the pair are casually dating. "Abel and Chantel have been friends for years, and they took things to the next level at Coachella," the source said. "Chantel is just his type: brunette, beautiful, and outgoing."

Although Chantel might be everything The Weeknd is looking for, they are taking things slow — he did just get out of a serious relationship, after all. "It's still early," the source explained. "They're just taking it one step at a time."

Oddly enough, this isn't the first time, or the second, that The Weeknd has been spotted with one of Justin's exes. At the end of November 2017 — literally a couple weeks after breaking things off with Selena — The Weeknd held hands with JB's ex, Yovanna Ventura, while attending French Montana's birthday party. "The Weeknd was there hand in hand with Yovanna all night," a source told Us Weekly. "They arrived together. They were holding hands. He was there for a solid two hours with her and everywhere they went they held hands."

The pair hasn't been seen together since then because it seems like The Weeknd has his sights set on Chantel at the moment. And even though they might be trying to keep their relationship quiet, the duo does follow each other on Instagram, which is a tell-tale sign that they are at least somewhat interested in each other.
