Teen Mom OG star Cheyenne Floyd revealed her heartbreak after her hometown of Altadena, California, was nearly wiped off the map by the devastating Eaton Fire.
“I was born and raised in Altadena. My childhood home is at the top of where everything was happening and where the fires were really, really bad,” Cheyenne 32, told Us Weekly on Wednesday, January 15.
“The church that we grew up in, the schools, the grocery stores, our favorite pastrami shop, every single thing is gone. It’s just devastating,” she continued.
The fire — fueled by strong Santa Ana winds — broke out on the evening of January 7 in the hills above Altadena and raged for several days, burning down more than 7,000 homes and businesses in the foothill community.
Much of the downtown area was destroyed, along with countless blocks of neighborhoods.
“Altadena is such a special place. It was gorgeous,” Cheyenne recalled. “The trees and the mountains and the houses had so much character, and then it’s also special because that was one of the first places that opened up to allow Black people to buy homes over there. A lot of those houses are 4/5th generational homes, and that’s gone.”
Cheyenne and her husband, Zach Davis, have lived in Northridge, California, located in L.A.’s San Fernando Valley, since 2022. The couple want to help those who lost everything in the Eaton Fire.
It began with the MTV star sharing an Amazon wishlist of nearly 100 items to her Snapchat. Fans fulfilled the orders for fire victims at a speedy rate, and Cheyenne expanded the project to help those in need.

“The next day, I just sat on my couch, and I added thousands of products, and then I was like, ‘I wonder if this is gonna work,’” she told the outlet. “I woke up the next morning and I looked at Zach and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, there’s 1,600 orders. What are we gonna do?’”
As products began to arrive, Cheyenne and Zach turned their home into an “Amazon warehouse” where fire victims could pick up essential items.
“We started in the garage, and then we kind of just moved on into the actual house, because we ran out of room. Now we’re just everywhere,” Zach, 33, shared.
As of Friday, January 17, Cheyenne’s Amazon wishlist for fire victims includes nearly 1,800 items, ranging from diapers and tampons to cleaning supplies and pet food. Almost 1,600 of the items had already been purchased for the fire victims.
They day prior, the reality star shared two Instagram photos standing in her home surrounded by boxes of deliveries from Amazon.
“Just today, we’ve distributed over 3,000 new products to churches, assisted living facilities, and schools! This is absolutely amazing — thank you, thank you, thank you for making this possible!” she wrote in the caption.
“I’m beyond proud of her and just amazed to see the way she can round this up in a matter of [days],” Zach gushed to Us about his wife. “This started as something she didn’t think would be as big. She thought maybe 100 packages or 200 orders, but it ended up being over 3,000. I feel blessed as a husband to be able to have a wife on my side who’s willing and able to do this and use the platform for the greater good. It’s a blessing.”
Cheyenne joined Teen Mom OG in season 7. Viewers watch as she and Zach welcomed son Ace in May 2021. Cheyenne also shares a daughter, Ryder, with ex-boyfriend Cory Wharton. He was born in 2017.

Cheyenne and Zach got married on September 29, 2022, after knowing each other since their teens.
“I think sometimes people forget that I’ve known Zach since I was 16,” she told E! News in August 2022. “We built our love and our foundation off of a friendship. We were friends who fell in love, and I don’t know if there was ever a moment where I was like, ‘yeah, he’s the one,’ but I think when I look back at our love story, there’s been so many moments. He’s genuinely held my hand on some of the best days of my life and held them tighter on some of the worst days.”
