People were really, really bent out of shape about Farrah Abraham’s return to Teen Mom OG. Some individuals started a petition to kick her off — and Maci Bookout threatened to quit the show.
But now the truth has been revealed: You all secretly love the adult film star/'New York Times' best-selling author. And the ratings for the MTV reality show prove it!

During the fifth episode of the season — the same episode MTV billed as “Farrah’s return” — the show saw a considerable jump in viewership, from 1.472 million viewers to 1.657.
The following week was the 23-year-old’s first full episode — the sixth in the season — which was watched by 1.822 million fans, marking an almost 10 percent increase. This week’s episode had 1.855 viewers, the season’s second highest (the March 23 premiere holds the top spot).

When it was revealed the controversial mom-of-one was rejoining the series, the show’s creator, Lauren Dolgen, explained, “It was obvious to me that we needed the fourth story. There is such a balance of having four stories. There is more of [Farrah’s] story to tell.”
