Settle down, settle down. Kailyn Lowry isn’t going anywhere. The mom-of-three posted a series of cryptic tweets during an episode of Teen Mom 2, which quite literally sent fans into panic mode when they thought she was leaving the show. Thankfully, she was just reflecting on her experience.
The 25-year-old even gave followers a glimpse at what her life could have looked like if she didn’t sign a contract with MTV years ago. She wrote, “Sitting here watching the behind the scenes s–t makes me really think about how weird my life is. And how differently everyone really lives.”
She continued, “I’ve been on tv for almost 10 years and i don’t know where i would be if i never signed a contract. Probably a more similar path to my mother.”
For reference, Kailyn has had a very tumultuous relationship with her mom, who’s apparently battling an addiction to alcohol. During an episode of [Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars](https://www.youtube.com/watch?timecontinue=35&v=MtAMGZKP1Uc)_, Kailyn said, “I was like, maybe six [years old] and the cops came for my mom. They just took her away. I didn’t understand why. I didn’t know why she was being taken from me. Now I know — addiction can do horrible things to people. I want to be everything that she was never to me. I don’t like to talk about my mom. I definitely think her not being there influenced me to have a child young.”
Kailyn went on to praise the network and all of the opportunities being on the show has given her. But, her words turned cryptic when she admitted that she may want to branch out and do other projects. She wrote, “So as crazy as it can be, thanks for the opportunity… which ultimately made me want to work for even more (other) opportunities @MTV.”
This, of course, got people wondering if she’s reevaluating her future with the show. But Kailyn quickly squashed rumors that she’s dunzo with the series that kicked off her career while replying to a fan who asked, “Wait are you leaving Teen Mom 2?” She answered, “Not that i know of! lol. Just tweeting my thoughts after watching tonight!”
Teen Mom 2 fanatics can breathe a sigh of relief — there will still be video footage of her three kids, Issac, 7, Lincoln, 3, and Lux, 6 months, growing up and looking adorable!
