‘Teen Mom 2’ Alum Jenelle Evans Shuts Down Claims She’s Rekindled Romance With Ex-Husband David Eason

Jenelle Evans is still single, despite spending a lot of time with ex-husband David Eason.

“I think right now I’m just focusing on co-parenting right now with all my exes and just try[ing] to make things as civil as possible,” Evans, 33, said during her Monday, April 13, appearance on the La Femme Talk podcast. “And if that means my daughter [Ensley, who she shares with Eason] seeing us getting along together, going out to have lunch [or] dinners, I mean, that’s fine with me. As long as we can all get along, you know?”

Evans added, “Coming from my past, there’s a lot of toxicity, and for my kids to now see a new turned leaf, it’s just…it’s happy.”

The 16 & Pregnant alum has been spotted spending time with Eason, 37, in recent weeks amid her eldest son, Jace Evans, being hospitalized for his mental health.

“I think now, back to coparenting…I think that’s the most important thing, for right now,” she added. “Because again, in my past it was a lot that [my kids] witnessed and saw, and we’re all trying to move past that, and we’re all trying to create new memories.”

In addition to Jace, 16, and Ensley, 9, Evans shares son Kaiser, 11, with ex Nathan Griffith.

The former reality star previously shut down rumors of a reconciliation with her ex after photos emerged of the pair celebrating Easter in Las Vegas.

“I’m sorry my daughter is allowed to see her father,” she wrote via X on April 6. “Everyone knows this but you apparently.”

Evans and Eason’s divorce was finalized in July 2025, more than one year after legally separating. Evans relocated from North Carolina to Las Vegas with her two younger children, while Jace stayed to live with his grandmother, Barbara Evans.
