Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Step Out for First Time Since Wedding
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have made their first appearance as husband and wife.
The Blank Space singer and Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end, both 36, seemed to cut their honeymoon short to attend the wedding of fellow NFL star JuJu Smith-Schuster and Laura Kruk.
According to DeuxMoi, the newlywed couple were photographed at Julu’s wedding, which was hosted at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel in Orange County, Calif. Taylor arrived at the ceremony wearing a floral Markarian gown while her husband opted for a classic black and white suit.
Before attending the wedding, the two reportedly spent a few days in Montana, recuperating from their grandiose wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
According to a People insider, the ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler. After the bride and groom delivered 20-minute vows, the night continued with special performances from Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks.
It’s been less than a year since Taylor and Travis announced the news of their engagement on Instagram with a five-photo carousel of the two in a romantic garden. The caption read, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
The couple’s romance started two years prior, when the football player mentioned the singer on his New Heights podcast. During an episode that aired in July 2023, the NFL star had admitted to attempting to shoot his shot at her famous Eras Tour.
While attending the show in Kansas City, Travis tried to give the singer a friendship bracelet, which is a common act at her concerts amongst fans.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” he confessed.
Two months later, reports said the two had started spending time together. They have been linked ever since.
