An entertainment industry executive told The New York Times on Thursday, June 25, that there are plans for “an intimate gathering of about 100 people at the Garden” on July 2, which TMZ speculated could be the actual ceremony. The following day there’s a larger event with an expected 1,000 people in attendance that includes “possible stage appearances.”
Another source told the outlet that “several members of the Kansas City Chiefs have booked hotel rooms for dates around July 3 at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square.”
The New York Times also reported that permits had been filed to close the streets around the venue from July 2 to July 4 and to set up tents outside, while Amtrak police officers whose jurisdiction is below the arena in Penn Station, were told to expect the wedding.

As In Touch previously reported, the “Cruel Summer” singer, 36, has been stressed out about who to invite to the wedding and she and Kelce, 36, “hated the idea of anyone feeling left out.”
The large guest list inevitably led to the couple needing a venue big enough to accommodate everyone.
“Taylor has said that if people think the choice of venue is over the top, they are really going to be blown away when they find everything they have planned,” a source said on June 8. “She is very tight-lipped but she has hinted many times that music will be front and center.”
