Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have clearly mastered the art of keeping fans guessing.

Rumors surrounding the couple’s wedding continue to dominate headlines, with much of the speculation centered on reports that they could exchange vows on July 3 at Madison Square Garden.

In Touch previously reported that the couple, both 36, plan to marry at Madison Square Garden over the Fourth of July weekend. But according to the Thursday, June 18, edition of Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack, sources insist the MSG gathering was never the wedding itself.

“The MSG event was always the party, not the wedding,” a source told the outlet.

The source added, “Taylor and Travis wanted the ceremony to be intimate and shared only with the people who matter most.”

According to Shuter, sources believe the ceremony is likely to be held near Swift’s Rhode Island estate.

“Everything points to a private ceremony followed by a much bigger celebration later,” an insider said. “That’s been the plan from day one.”

Other sources frame the choice as a deliberate move to keep the vows personal.

“Taylor could fill Madison Square Garden any night of the week,” another source told Naughty But Nice. “But a wedding isn’t a concert. She wanted a real moment with the people she loves, not a production.”

“Think of MSG as the victory lap,” an insider said, according to the report. “The wedding is private. The party is public.”

TMZ added to the speculation on Friday, June 19, reporting that a large wedding is believed to be scheduled for Saturday at Ocean House, a ritzy hotel a short walk from Swift’s Rhode Island mansion. However, that same day, the outlet noted that the couple have yet to file for a marriage license where the singer lives.
