Spencer Pratt May ‘Run’ for Office ‘Again’ After LA Mayoral Race, Currently ‘Assessing His Options’

Down but not out! Spencer Pratt is dusting himself off in the wake of his failed L.A. mayoral bid.

As In Touch previously reported, the former reality TV star, 42, fell short to incumbent Mayor Karen Bass and City Councilwoman Nithya Raman in the Tuesday, June 2 primary, despite a push from celebrities and an endorsement from President Donald Trump.

“He’s got a taste for politics and may well run again down the line,” reveals an insider. “All options are on the table.”

In the Tuesday, June 9 edition of Rob Shuter‘s Naughty But Nice Substack, sources revealed that Pratt is expected to meet with Trump, 79, to discuss his political future, which may include an appointed role at the White House.

“Don’t be surprised if this leads to a government job,” one source told the outlet.

Pratt’s next move is a hotly debated topic.

“Right now Spencer is assessing his options and deciding if he wants to stay in LA or not,” In Touch‘s insider reveals. “He did say he’d leave town if he lost.”

Jimmy Kimmel even joked that he’d rent the Hills alum a U-Haul on the Tuesday, June 9 broadcast of his late-night talk show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

“But that position may change,” the insider notes. “It depends on a number of factors.”

Until then, “Spencer’s biggest motivation right now is to stick around and haunt the wokesters with his success,” says the insider. “He’s gained a ton of exposure and popularity from this run, which he’ll be able to monetize through a new reality show, books, documentaries, spin-off shows and other projects.”
