It’s about time!
Selena Gomez and The Weeknd just walked the 2017 Met Gala red carpet together, therefore solidifying their status as a full-blown couple. The “It Ain’t You” singer looked beautiful in her cream Coach gown with floral embroidery, lace trim, and a thigh-high slit teamed. Her dashing date — aka the handsome “Can’t Feel My Face” singer — rocked a fitted tuxedo.

The singers were not shy about showing PDA on the Met Gala carpet. As they posed for photographs, The Weeknd lovingly placed his arm around Selena’s shoulders and pulled him into her chest for a hug. The two lovebirds even shared a not-so-secret kiss on the carpet!

However, we can’t say we’re surprised that Selena and The Weeknd decided to take their relationship so public. The couple was spotted all over each other while at Coachella this year. It was only a matter of time before they chose to attend a highly publicized event together.

“Abel is making this grand gesture at Coachella and it’s basically a coming out party for them to be so public about their love,” a source previously revealed. “It’s defining the next stage in their relationship and is showing Selena that the sky is the limit.”
The couple first sparked dating rumors earlier this year — just two months after The Weeknd’s split from his longtime girlfriend, Bella Hadid. We bet The Weeknd won’t be able to keep his hands to himself tonight!
