Is Selena Gomez Stuck in the Same Old Love? She and The Weeknd Are “At Each Other’s Throats” (EXCLUSIVE)
Say it ain’t so! America’s favorite couple — Selena Gomez and The Weeknd — have run into trouble, and we are not OK. The “It Ain’t Me” singer, 25, and her beau of almost eight months, 27, aren’t as “perfect” as they seem to be on the surface.
A source told In Touch exclusively, “They’ve gone from being madly in love to being at each other’s throats.” The source added, “They’ve hardly been spending any time together lately, and it’s led to many fights. Selena’s been busy promoting [her new hit] ‘Fetish,’ while The Weeknd has been gearing up for the next leg of his Starboy: Legend of the Fall tour [which begins in September].”

Plus, even when they are together, Selena’s trust issues get in the way. “Whenever The Weeknd’s phone rings or he gets a text, Selena looks over his shoulder to see who it is. It drives him crazy,” added the source. “If they were to break up, no one would be surprised.”
Earlier this month, Sel’s ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber reached out to his former flame following the abrupt cancellation of his world tour — which probably didn’t make The Weeknd too happy. A separate insider told In Touch, “He actually called Selena several times when he decided to cancel his tour… He said he wants to spend time with old friends and rest.” Sigh, we’re still hopeful these two can work through their issues. If not, love officially does not exist.
