Shots fired! Lisa Rinna threw shade at Lori Loughlin following her alleged involvement in the college admissions scandal on the Wednesday, May 6, episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. At the time, her daughter Amelia Gray was hoping to transfer to the University of Southern California, the same school the actress, 55, was accused of bribing people to get her daughter accepted into.

“Take me through exactly what you’ve done up to this point,” Lisa, 56, said to the 18-year-old, asking if she fulfilled all of the requirements for admission. “I have all my math requirements to transfer into USC,” the teen explained. “but this is so that if I get in, then I won’t have to take another math class. I’ll have my math credits for college.”

Recognizing the perfect opportunity for a humorous jab, Lisa replied, “Good, because I’m not going to put you on a rowing machine and take a picture of you and say that … .” Interrupting her mother, Amelia quipped, “That was the wrong thing to say. I’m trying to get into USC here. I’m like, let’s not.” Lisa, who was still laughing at her joke, said, “I’m joking, I would never, ever do that. I wouldn’t.”

The former Full House star and husband Mossimo Giannulli allegedly “agreed to pay bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters (Isabella, 21, and Olivia, 20) designated as recruits to the USC crew team,” according to court documents. The girls applied to the university as athletic recruits, although they never participated in the sport. In March 2019, Lori and Mossimo were among the 15 parents indicted on charges of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud in connection to the nationwide college admissions scandal. The actress could be facing up to 50 years in federal prison for her involvement.

On April 8, federal prosecutors released photos of the girls working out on rowing machines which were used as part of their application to the university. Olivia and Bella were “mortified” over the photos, an insider exclusively told In Touch at the time. “Lori wants to do what’s best for her girls, but she’s confused and questions their legal plan going forward.” We hope the college admissions process goes a little smoother for Amelia and Lisa.
