Trouble in paradise? Lori Loughlin is apparently telling friends her marriage to Mossimo Giannulli is rocky in the wake of the college admissions scandal, a source exclusively told In Touch. “Lori’s got a lot on her mind these days,” the insider said. “Besides the FBI investigation into her daughter’s college admissions, her and her husband’s humiliating arrest and the possibility of facing five years in prison, she’s telling friends that her marriage is in trouble.”

Loughlin, 54, was indicted on March 12 on charges related to a nationwide college admissions cheating scam. She and her husband allegedly “agreed to pay bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters [20-year-old daughter Isabella and 19-year-old daughter Olivia] designated as recruits to the USC crew team — despite the fact that they did not participate in crew — thereby facilitating their admission to USC.”

Now, the source told In Touch that Loughlin is apparently telling her friends the college scandal “was the last straw. Lori blames Mossimo for a lot of their current issues. As you can imagine, there’s a lot of stress, emotions are high and they’re trying to pull it all together. It’s a very difficult time.”

The insider added, “Lori and Mossimo had some major issues in their marriage about three years ago … That almost ended the marriage, they ended up working it out, but it was never the same.” Every couple goes through rough patches, but this one sounds especially serious for Loughlin and Giannulli, 55.

To make matters worse, Loughlin’s career is suffering as well. Hallmark’s parent company, Crown Media Family Network, has officially severed ties with her following the reveal that she’s allegedly involved in the admissions scandal; Loughlin was a series regular on its show When Calls the Heart.

“We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations,” a statement from the company read on March 14. “We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air on the Crown Media Family Network channels involving Lori Loughlin including Garage Sale Mysteries, an independent third party production.”

Loughlin was released from jail on a $1 million bond after she appeared in federal court on March 13. Her new court date is set for March 29 in Boston. Will her marriage survive through it all?
