She wasn’t wearing Louboutins — she was wearing little, brown kitten heels! If that sentence doesn’t make any sense to you, then you most likely weren’t a fan of E!'s short-lived reality series, Pretty Wild, which ran for nine glorious episodes in 2010. But if you do remember that iconic moment, in which an emotionally rattled Alexis Neiers cried over Nancy Jo Sales’ infamous Vanity Fair article, "The Suspects Wore Louboutins," then you’ve probably been feeling the same void we have for the last seven years.

Pretty Wild is arguably one of the greatest reality shows to ever grace our small screens. The docuseries — co-produced by Chelsea Handler — followed the lives of aspiring model and socialite Alexis, her foster sister, Tess Taylor (another aspiring model and socialite), Alexis’ sister, Gabby Neiers, who was just trying to be a normal high school student, and their mother, former Playboy Playmate and lingerie model Andrea Arlington.

TBH, these girls made the Kardashians look normal. From Andrea’s homeschooling sessions — which were based off The Secret, the law of attraction, and a s–t ton of vision-boarding — to Alexis and Tess’ involvement in a string of celebrity home robberies (later to be reimagined in Sofia Coppola’s 2013 film The Bling Ring), there was never a dull moment on Pretty Wild. Here’s what we know about the ladies today.

Alexis pleaded no contest to felony burglary charges and was sentenced to 180 days in jail, of which she served only 30. She was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in 2010 and completed a rehab stint that same year. She is now sober, a married mom to two young daughters named Harper and Dakota, and works as a doula.

During a 2013 interview with Vice, Alexis, now 26, revealed that she and Tess were only pursuing careers in Hollywood and agreed to do a reality show so that they could afford their very expensive drug habits. “Pretty Wild came about in a bizarre way. My sister Tess and I just decided we wanted to start acting and modeling — not really to get famous, but to sustain my drug habit,” she said. “We happened to do this low-budget film, and that’s when we met one of the producers on the show, Dan Levy.”

Alexis added, “People think I was living with my family, but I was living at a Best Western on Franklin and Vine. I was smoking 20 80-mg oxys a day, I was doing tons of cocaine, I was panhandling for drugs. I had an over-$10,000-a-week drug habit. What you were seeing on TV was not what was really going on.”

Tess, whose biggest dream in life was to appear in Playboy, was named "Cybergirl of the Week” in June 2009, and won “Cybergirl of the Year” in 2010. Though she often accompanied Alexis during her late-night heists, she was never sentenced to jail for her role in the Bling Ring. However, she did battle addiction just like her foster sister. Tess is now sober and has since relocated from LA to Wisconsin. And, judging from her Instagram, the brunette beauty, now 27, looks happier than ever these days. She's the proud married mom of a young daughter named River.

Gabby has been MIA on social media for years, so it’s hard to tell how she’s doing these days. In a 2015 blog post, her mother, Andrea, said that she was “doing well” in her first year at LA’s Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (you know, the same school that Lauren Conrad went to on The Hills).

Pretty Wild’s matriarch was known for her zen approach to life — and it seems as though she still adheres to the law of attraction and self-help philosophies. Who can forget when she told her daughters “to make vision boards about people demonstrating good character, like Angelina Jolie”? In a 2015 interview with Vice, she said that she still loves a good vision board and revealed that she was working on her own self-help book à la The Secret called F–ked Up at Fifty.

The book never came out, but Andrea explained that she was hoping to lend advice to other families who might have experienced tumultuous times together. "Look at the freaking life that we had. How can you not feel slightly f–ked up after all of that?” Andrea said, insisting she is now an expert at overcoming adversity.

It’s hard to express just how much we miss this group of gals. Excuse us while we create a vision board solely dedicated to a Pretty Wild reunion.
