The blonde beauty was just 11 years old when her father passed away. She’s opened up in the past about the impact losing her dad so young left on her life. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar back in March, Paris revealed she “was always the weird kid” growing up, but she and her father had a tight bond.
“I wasn’t around a lot of other girls,” she told the mag. “When I was a kid, I was with my dad and my two brothers. Growing up, I was treated as the favorite because I was the only girl. I was the princess; I was perfect in my dad’s eyes.”

And though she clearly has love for her father, she revealed that pop culture’s obsession with the “Thriller” hitmaker gets her down sometimes. “All anyone wants to talk about is my father, and it makes me sad,” she said.
